Conference Season Update

Conference season is back and we're in the thick of it! Let's talk about what we did at at innovedCon 2019 and our plans for the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference, the WCET Annual Meeting, and OLC Accelerate 2019.

Sue Germer, Co-Founder of PlayPosit, was at innovedCon 2019 in sunny Miami on October 2-3. She was a featured speaker and had the opportunity to tell the PlayPosit story in front of hundreds of attendees following the welcome address.

However, the most exciting part of the conference may have been hearing from existing users. Below is a picture of Sue and Dr. Stefanie Gazda, who spent the session titled 'Adventures in Playposit & Animal Research: Bringing the Field to Students With On-location Videos' discussing how PlayPosit is used in her 4000-level Animal Behavior course at the University of Florida. We thought that she was pretty inspiring but we might be a little biased.

We can't tell who looks more excited. You can follow Dr. Gazda's adventures on Twitter @CKDolphinProject . And while you're at it, make sure to follow @PlayPosit if you don't already!

So, with this year's innovedCon behind us, we have begun preparing for the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference on October 14-17. While we will not be attending the actual conference this year, we are busy making plans to meet our community partners. Tag us on Twitter if you're planning to attend!

The WCET Annual Meeting will be at our home base in Denver on November 5-7. We will not be presenting this time around but we will be there to hear our peers speak and learn about the wonderful things happening in our industry.

The end of November will take us back to Florida as we attend OLC Accelerate 2019. Sue will be presenting and exhibiting. Make sure to say hi on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 - 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM!

It will be a busy few weeks for us in the coming days but we hope that we will have the chance to connect with you at one of our upcoming events.
